Seche Vite VS Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat (DUPE)

Nail polish will forever hold a special place in my dear heart. It is of course, what introduced me to the wondrous world that is beauty . Seche Vite was a product that I would continuously contemplate on purchasing, being a tad on the pricey side for a clear top coat. However, pondering on the FeelUnique summer sales, the offer of £8 caught my attention and so I quickly snatched it up. Deciding that it was something that I would eventually want to try and cave on anyway.
Seeing as though my previous 'Beauty battle off' post had proven quite popular I thought you all would find this equally as useful.

Bioderma VS L'Oréal Micellar Solution

Back in the day, I was an avid cleansing wipes user and they were all rage, little did I know how almost poisonous they were to our beloved skin. Since switching to cleansing waters, I have since found that I in fact have oily skin and do not have a natural red tinge thanks to the lack of alcohols present in the solutions.

cleanser wise, Bioderma has always been, shall I say, a 'holy grail' product that features heavily in both my morning and night routines. So when there was a speculation of a supposed dupe for my well loved micellar water at a fraction of a price, Though I was sad to part with my Bioderma, I was intrigued to experiment and put it through it's paces.

BACK TO SCHOOL: Lips Of Choice

In order of lip products in previous images
When considering a lip product suitable for school/ college days, quite a few factors come into consideration: longevity, comfort, effort etc. Most would stay within their comfort zone and opt for a simple chap stick and breaking boundaries would be a tinted lip balm, Which to be honest, I have no problem with. At the end of the day, that option is hassle free and no fuss is included. However being a lip product lover, I do often like to wear a spot of colour on the lips as I feel that it can make a look more put together and like effort has been made. Most days, I would swerve toward the 'my lips but better' shades (I know, cliché statement alert!) but on the days that I am feeling a bit on the daring side, I tend to opt for the classic red lip. So here are some options that I find fit the bill perfectly.

The 'Go To' Nude

LEFT- MAC 'Shy girl' | MIDDLE - L'oréal Colour riche balm in 'tender mauve' | RIGHT- The 2 layered on top

Although a shocking bold lip will always be a favourite for me, recently I have done a complete180 and become a lover of a simple nude lip. I think the reason being is that I have been drawn
toward the more dramatic eye look so it is only natural to pair it with a more nude shade lip so as to not
overwhelm the face. It was always a slight challenge finding a nice nude shade as I didn't want to seem
washed out or even worse... ill in any way so I was fairly cautious when it came to the concealer-like nude
shades.

THE BALM Mary-Lou Manizer Hightlighter

This has been lingering on my wish list for the longest time. I was planning on purchasing it during my trip to the US but not so surprisingly I blew my budget not even half way through the vacation so that idea was a no go. However, I'm glad that I waited as scrolling through the Feel Unique website after hearing of a summer sale I found that this was in fact on sale for £12. I squealed at the sight of it on my screen and that alone made my week. After finding a few other bargain picks, I couldn't wait for it to arrive.

I had never purchased 'The Balm' products before hand so I was intrigued to find how this would fair to other brands of similar price. I've heard countless positive comments on this highlighter and so my expectations where of high standard. At first glance, the packaging is adorable and eye catching and I find the design similar to that of a Benefit product.
