NOTD #4: Cobalt Blue - Dupe!

Miss Sporty Quick Dry Polish in 'Pop Fiction' (£1.99)

I know full well this shade isn't exactly the epitome of autumn but I can't fault it. If your looking for a perfect pop of colour to add to those dull fingertips, this is a polish you simply have to turn and feast your eyes at.

For a £2 polish, I wasn't really expecting exceptional performance but it is in fact quite opaque with one coat; although I'm the type to do a once over with every polish, opaque or not. The brush is a wide width with a slight rounded tip to make for quick and easy application round the cuticle edge. Also the fact that it is a quick dry formula is perfect for if you are in a rush... or if you're like me and just plain lazy.

I also find this shade to be quite the dupe for a bloggers favourite: Topshop's polish in 'AWOL' which is £5. So if you're lusting after that colour, I would highly recommend this as a cheaper alternative without sacrificing on quality.

Any other polish dupes or shades you would recommend for fall, let me know!

THOUGHTS: Manhattan Soft Matte LipCreams

Lip products in general are an absolute weakness, so routing through Fragrance Direct, it was ultimately going to end in at least 1 lip purchase. Lip creams have been quite the hype since NYX released their take on the formula. I know when I was in my early teens that I formly owned one of the Collection (or collection 2000 as it was) lip creams and was treasured till the end of it's sad life, so it isn't essentially all to new to the inudstry... everyone was just kinda late to catch on I guess.

Fragrance Direct Mini Haul

I think this is the absolute longest I've ever gone without blogging... apart from when I was travelling the US for 2 weeks. College sucks and I have been trying to catch up and revise for internal exams that the college ever so kindly decided to bestow upon us.

Anyway, I was recently browsing through Fragrance Direct and purchased a few bits just to keep my beauty obsession alive. Now, I won't really go into too much detail on the individual products themselves as I'm sure reviews will pop up some time soon.

MONTHLY FAVOURITES: September

LEFT - Bronzing Primer | RIGHT - Age rewind Concealer

September for me, is always the month of denial. I refuse to believe that summer is over until October hits. I absolutely despise cold weather and the daylights getting shorter so I dread when this time of the year comes rolling round. Of course, I love christmas as I'm sure 99.9% of the population do, its uplifting joyful and festive, but until then, lets all just mourn over the fact that summer has now seised to exist.

Wow. what an uplifting introduction that was. On the positive side.. Pumpkin Spice Lattes... lets have a show of hands over who could drink this till the cows stop mooing. Me! Right, enough of that, on with the favourites!

My Love For Fuzzy Socks

                                                              (Primark- £3.00)

It is now October 1st which means halloween is essentially just round the corner and I'm excited to say that pumpkin spice latte is coming into season soon at Starbucks... I am beyond excited, more so than the average person should be in relation to hot coffee beverages.

Off topic introduction over. I have quite cold feet most of the time due to bad circulation; so when fall and winter comes around, along with the dreaded change in weather, I rely on my best friend, the fuzzy sock, to keep my piggies toasty... and from falling off.
Now, My darling mother knows full well how much I complain, so she ever so kindly picked these up during a little shopping trip. These are probably the first of many I will be getting my hands on this winter as I practically live in them and need a constant change in sock scenery.

The pattern is oh so festive and is already pulling me into the christmas spirit, but they are SO comfy adorned in gorgeously soft lining! They also have rubber discs stuck to the bottom for grip on tiles and slippery floors for the less coordinated of the bunch.

As soon as I return from college I slip these puppies on and its just simple bliss.

If you are looking for a cheap but comfy pair for yourselves I highly recommend primark, thats essentially where I purchase my supply. 2 pairs for like £2 - £2.50 which is quite the bargain considering they're fairly good quality!

Let me know what your favourite accessory is in the fall/winter!
