Summer is in full bloom and as per usual England is nothing but a nasty rain cloud (which is really not surprising) However, in order to brighten up my mood I have been thinking about some beach essentials that I will be needing when I go on holiday and have the opportunity to tan by the sea!

FACE PRODUCTS:-
REVLON PhotoReady BB Cream -
This will even out your skin tone while maintaining that natural glow and feeling light on the skin. It also has SPF 30 which will protect your skin from the scorching beach weather.
COLLECTION Lasting Perfection Concealer -
This is probably one of the most talked out concealers in the beauty world and is definitely worth all the hype it receives! Not only does it give you full coverage on those pesky blemishes and stays on all day but it costs a grand total of £4.19...You just can't get any better than that!
REVLON PhotoReady Cream Blush in 'Flushed' -
If you're wanting a flushed cheek but need it to stay put then I highly recommend a cream blush. This particular one is a cream to powder finish which leaves your cheeks with a natural flush. It is easily blend-able which is important if you are using such a bright fuchsia like this one.
EYE PRODUCTS:-
MAYBELLINE Colour Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze' -
This is a gorgeous true bronze cream eyeshadow that will stay put even when in the water. This is a minimal effort product which can easily be applied with your with fingertip and can be used as a base to be layered or as a shimmery wash of colour over the lid
RIMMEL Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in 'Noir' (left) -
It does what it says on the tin... waterproof. Anything that says waterproof I am immediately drawn to when looking for summer/beach products. This eyeliner can easily be blended out to give a subtle smokey eye or just added to the waterline to define the eye.
RIMMEL Exaggerate EyeLiner in 'black' (right)-
Unlike the one above, this is a liquid liner which will give you are more dramatic line for when you are feeling the winged liner look. 'waterproof' is also stamped on the product and is definitely true to it's word (maybe I did test it out in the pool)
MAYBELLINE The Falsies Flared Mascara -
It really should be in waterproof but I have yet to purchase it. Never the less, this is one of my favourite mascaras, adding length and volume without clumping. Plus... purples my favourite colour so the packaging may have swayed me toward it...
LIP PRODUCTS:-
BURT'S BEES Rejuvenating LipBalm with Acai Berry -
lets face it, lips get dry at the beach so a lip balm is a must. This just so happens to be one of my favourites. It is light but extremely hydrating. It has no colour pay off but smells absolutely delicious, i just want to eat it!
REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 'Honey' -
If you're looking for a sheer wash of colour but still want to stay hydrated then this is a great product! It stays put on the lips and doesn't need a mirror to apply. I also love the crayon-like packaging which is very travel friendly.
LOREAL GlamShine Stain Splash in 'Juliet' -
This is for the people who are daring enough to wear a bold lip to the beach, which I personally love! The fact that it is a stain means the colour will last all day with little up keep, although it can be quite drying. The colour range for this line is not phenomenal but the colours available are lovely.
JUST SOME EXTRAS:-
LUSH Eau Roma Toner Water :-
This is a lovely light rose water mist that will keep your face hydrated and keep you cool. This can be sprayed throughout the day over you make up to keep your skin looking fresh and the scent is lovely.
JERGENS Ultra Healing Hand Cream -
My hands are ALWAYS dry. which means I always have to carry round a hand cream, especially at the beach. This one works a dream as it prevents my hands from cracking and and smells divine.
SUPERDRUG Shine Control Tissues -
These are essentially blotting sheets that are well and truly needed at the beach. You WILL get sweaty at the beach and these are a saviour, keeping your face matte whilst maintaining your make up.
