Pastels make their mark just about every spring, and this year is certainly no different. Deborah Lippmann has released six fabulously opaque polishes in the Spring Reveries collection; all of which I'm dying to get my hands on!
'Spring Buds' is a refreshing pastel lime with a slight muted luminous yellow undertone. The first coat is a little streaky but topping with a second made all the difference. This shade would definitely complement a tanned or olive skin tone nicely and look forward to sporting it once the sun makes its first appearances.
'Blue Orchid' is simply a classic powder blue that is slightly easier to wear. It can definitely be worn with 1 coat but being a slight nail freak, I would recommend 2 with any polish. It does reflect Essie's 'Essie's Bikini So Teeny' but without the slight shimmer.
Now I will admit, these beauties don't come cheap at £16 a piece, but if you're on the look out for a few high quality spring shades then I would highly recommend them.
Quick Note: They are limited edition, so if you're sat on the fence, then I suggest you get your butt off it and quickly decide!
The blue is a stunning crisp color :o) Xx
