Generally, I find that if you take reasonably good care of your skin, then you will find yourself spending way less on foundations attempting to cover the countless impurities. Of course not all can be avoided, its a part of being human at the end of the day, but whether it be your diet, products you use, or even general hygiene; all these factors play a key role in the condition of your skin.
After writing and reading through, I do realise it sounds an awful lot like a sponsored post... but its not.
nspa is a brand that was recently introduced to me whilst on the hunt for an affordable gel or balm cleanser. I absolutely loved the simplicity of the 3 or 4 steps, guiding the average Joe on the order at which the products should be applied.
The Melting Cleansing Gel is the first of 4 recommended steps and claims to rid you of your make up and impurities. The texture did feel rather strange to start as being on oily skin sufferer, it was slightly on the oilier side once you got it working into your skin. It then turns to a milky formula once you start adding water and then you simply wash off with a damp cloth. It's definitely a more gentle formula so is perfect for sensitive skin and the smell is quite floral but still remains somewhat refreshing for a morning routine. I have yet to test it on a full face of make up as I do go over with a cleansing water to get the bulk of it off before hand, but I do love achieving that squeaky clean feel once applied an washed off.
The Skin Renewal Gel definitely took my fancy in that it took a fair few minutes to figure out what the concept. I then came to the conclusion that it was in fact some sort of acidic exfoliator, which I was ecstatic about. I've always tended to steer away from rather abrasive exfoliators as it can exacerbate acne, but acidic formulas do the job without potentially braking the skin. I add this to my routine twice a week and have already felt a difference in the texture of my skin. The formula is much like that of the gel cleanser, as with the scent, both of which I have taking quite a liking to.
Overall, I would highly highly recommend you even just trying the brand itself.
At around £4 a product, theres absolutely nothing to lose. As far as I know, it is only currently available at ASDA and is at the moment 3 for £10 so is definitely worth picking up sometime soon! I will definitely be wanting to test out more of the range.
I've wanted to try some of this range now for such a long time! I'm glad you've got on with them so well :)
