BUDGET BEAUTY: Ebay Brushes

I may have been a little impatient with trying them before taking pictures, so please excuse the ratchet looking brushes...

I've been looking into buying a few new brushes for a while, but didn't particularly fancy spending £100 on a sigma set. I had heard a few good reviews on brushes from Ebay in the past, but was always a little skeptical on the quality. Though whilst having a general browse through, this set caught my eye being just £14.99 and looking pretty substantial.

THE BALM Mary-Lou Manizer Hightlighter

This has been lingering on my wish list for the longest time. I was planning on purchasing it during my trip to the US but not so surprisingly I blew my budget not even half way through the vacation so that idea was a no go. However, I'm glad that I waited as scrolling through the Feel Unique website after hearing of a summer sale I found that this was in fact on sale for £12. I squealed at the sight of it on my screen and that alone made my week. After finding a few other bargain picks, I couldn't wait for it to arrive.

I had never purchased 'The Balm' products before hand so I was intrigued to find how this would fair to other brands of similar price. I've heard countless positive comments on this highlighter and so my expectations where of high standard. At first glance, the packaging is adorable and eye catching and I find the design similar to that of a Benefit product.

My Nail Discovery

Oh my good gosh and all things holy. I know I'm a tad late on the band wagon but I don't think you will ever see a nail polish remover bottle rolling around my room ever again! These absolute beauties are a little piece of heaven in pink tub. I know Bourjois have released the same concept but paying £4.99 for a lump of acetone soaked sponge is a tad extortionate for a 17 Year old with minimal income. This however was found at BodyCare (in the UK) for the oh so lovely price of £1. It has the exact same concept and you literally just do as it says on the tin...or tub. Just twirl your finger in the sponge for a few seconds and voilĂ !

The Milani Baked Blush: Luminoso

($7.99)

Everyone girl strives for that natural flushed cheek and as I'm sitting here catching the rays with my cold beverage I am too attempting to achieve that same flush of colour.
Blushes are probably one of the biggest sections in my collection (apart from lip products) but it's safe to say that I don't wear blush on a daily basis. I have a variety of shades, formulas, brands but never has a blush impressed me to the extent that I ramble on about it like a crazy lady.

BARGAIN BEAUTIES: Elf Blush and Bronzer Duo

I was never the one to order make up online, I much prefer swatching the product in a store than guessing on an image. So when it came to ELF products it wasn't necessarily something that appealed me. Having travelled to America, ELF was a brand that first caught my attention in the drugstores, as if it wasn't cheap enough already in the UK, in the US it was practically for free. I immediately snatched this well loved duo up to witness all hype for myself.

BARGAIN BEAUTIES: Wet and Wild Eyeshadows

Wet and Wild Trio in 'I'm Getting Sunburned'
Another US product that is not available in UK drugstores. I know... please don't throw rocks at me. But it was too perfect not to pass up the opportunity of a 'Bargain Beauties' post. Finding wonders at budget prices has always given me a bit of a kick and I jump at the chance when a blogger recommends a budget beauty buy. These particular beauties have been on my Wish list for quite some time; usually it is the horrendous purse denting price that helps products remain on there but in this scenario it was the fact that I wasn't actually able to get my fingertips on this blogger favourite.
