I honestly didn't think I'd be conjuring up another Empties post so soon. However, routing through my eye make up, it was clear the older mascaras had been left a little unloved and dried out. As utterly saddening as it was to see my beloved falsies getting chucked away, it simply had to be done. 

The Sunday Edit: Small Drugstore Haul

So instead of revealing my week to you all, (which to be honest, hasn't been much) I thought I would make it a tad more interesting and share a few bits I picked up at the drugstore. Some are standard repurchases and others are what have been cropping up more recently; curiosity and advertising simply won me over. 

Keep Moisturised: Fall&Winter

When the seasons reach fall and winter, I'm pretty sure our skin is the first to detect and react to the change in weather conditions before we consciously even realise it ourselves. My skin is generally pretty dry except for the T- zones of my face and well lets face it, every other teenager suffers with that ordeal. So to support my skin through the horrifying weather conditions to come, I have a few products to help keep hydrated. 

The Daily Dose: Brownie in A Mug Attempt

'The Daily Dose' is now what my lifestyle posts will be called to kind of segregate it from the beauty stuff. 

 Now I was never the avid cook but coming across this 'recipe' on instragram it immediately caught my eye. I love brownies and I'm kind of impatient when it comes to waiting for food so I'm thinking this sort of fits the bill plus the fact that it was is a 1 minute 40 second microwave away from fresh brownie goodness had to done. 

I wasn't really sure on the whole quarter cup of flour and sugar so I just trusted my none cook instincts and guessed but the whole mix took only a minute or two to conjure up. I wasn't even expecting it too cook if I'm being honest but I was pleasantly surprised when it came out as a cake like consistency and it didn't taste half bad. I think I added to much cocoa as it was a bit on the intense side and a bit dry but other than that, if you get the proportions right its actually quite tasty! I do recommend you try it, I mean all together it takes up about 5 minutes of your time so it's worth a shot and it's perfect if you're just looking for a quick tasty treat!

Browsing the beauty gurus on youtube, I've seen this Tag floating around for quite a while and I thought it was time for me to give it a go. Plus, I love Becky from 'TalkBeckyTalk' on youtube who originally made this tag!

MONTHLY FAVOURITES: June

Ever since watching and reading all the monthly favourites on youtube and blogs, I have wanted to do my very own . So when starting this blog the first thing that I screamed (inside my head of course) was "I finally get to do my very own monthly favs!!". The point is- I am VERY excited to be doing this post! 

Apart from finishing college, not much has happened in the month of June and because of that my make up has been kept quite simple. So in terms of beauty favourites, there all products that I have been using on a daily basis.
